Thank you for visiting the Cheongam University website and for your interest.
The primary role of the Office of International Affairs (OIA) is to serve as a bridge between Cheongam University and the global community. This includes collaboration with a wide range of international partners, such as government institutions, private organizations, local and global communities, as well as individuals including students, faculty, staff, donors, and guests.
OIA plays a vital role in supporting Cheongam University’s internationalization efforts and is directly responsible for managing various global programs. These include study abroad opportunities, student exchange programs, short-term programs such as language learning, long-term degree programs, faculty exchange initiatives, and seasonal programs such as international summer and winter schools.
In addition, OIA manages all international communications, including inquiries, proposals, invitations, and partnership requests on behalf of Cheongam University. Through this role, OIA maintains close collaboration with colleges, departments, administrative offices, and affiliated institutions across the university.
As Cheongam University—established in 1954 in Suncheon, Jeonnam, Korea—continues to expand its global presence, OIA remains a key driver of these international initiatives. We are committed to supporting the university and fostering strong relationships with our partners and communities worldwide, and our lines of communication are always open.
Thank you.
